Easter 2013

Easter is such a precious time as we celebrate the renewal of mankind through Jesus’ sacrifice and the renewal of the earth as the trees and plants began to bud with new life after winter’s cold grasp. I am so thankful for God’s grace and for family and for all the blooming taking place around us.
We Celebrated Easter all weekend! On Saturday we spent the day at my parents' house. When it was time to find eggs, Aliyah made sure that she put every other egg in her sister's basket... how sweet!
Not sure how Russell and Dad dodged the camera, but they were there too! It was a wonderful day and the sun even came out for a little while.
Sunday morning was Everly Jean's very first Easter!! She had a great time watching her sister squeal every time an egg was found running from room to room... we all did! Aliyah made us hide the eggs multiple times after she found all the ones from the Easter bunny.
We put the beautiful handmade quilt YaYa made in the middle of our living room and that is where we spent most of Easter morning - talking, laughing, opening eggs and sharing the love of Jesus.
The rest of our Easter Sunday was spent with Tyler's parents. We had a beautiful brunch in Lawrence and then hunted for more eggs while hanging out together at their house through the evening. Aliyah requested that her dad and bopper hide the eggs over and over again.

The whole weekend was fabulous. The best part was spending so much time with our families. I hope you all had as much fun as we did. HAPPY EASTER!!
