Funny How Life Works Sometimes...

Just thinking about the amazing path Tyler and I have taken together so far and how all the little pieces seem to fit beautifully together into the big puzzle of life.

Right after Tyler and I were married and back from our honeymoon, we watched 3 beautiful girls for a month while their parents visited family out of the country. It was an amazing experience and we are so blessed to have created a life-long friendship with their family and continue to keep in touch and watch them grow.

We later became foster parents to 2 beautiful deaf girls for a year. Another incredible experience that is so hard to put down into words. Our hearts have been touched in ways we never thought were possible and the way we view this world has forever been changed by these two little girls.

And now... our family is blessed again with more beautiful and amazing GIRLS!! As I try and document my feelings and love for these two, I know my words can't truly do my heart justice. It continues to burst with joy (and a zillion other emotions) as I stop and think - really stop and think - about the amazing people who have crossed our same path and have became apart of our lives.

Sometimes I wonder if God was preparing our hearts & lives for sweet, pink, sugar & spice girls all along.

If we had boys, I know we would be just as in love and in awe of them too! It's just fun looking back at how many beautiful little girls crossed our path before we had our own...  foreshadowing maybe?
