Aliyah Goes to the Dentist

Aliyah was so excited to visit the dentist!!

She is still a little young for a full cleaning, but our dentist thought it would be good to have her climb up in the chair and let her get a feel for what will be like when she is ready. We were the only ones in the office because a big blizzard was coming that afternoon and they had canceled the rest of their appointments.

Aliyah sat in the waiting area listening for her name (We told her they call her name when they are ready, however, we were the only ones there. Luckily they didn't want to disappoint and hollered out a big "Aliyah!" just for her).

She jumped right out of her seat, "That's me!" and marched down the hall.

She had no problems sitting in the fancy chair and doing everything Dr. Katie told her. She looked inside and counted all her teeth. Dr. Katie said they looked great!

Dr. Katie was so impressed with Aliyah and thought she could try a real cleaning next time. Aliyah was also so impressed with the treasure chest she was offered when she was finished. The only time Aliyah showed any sign of concern, was when Tyler and I were not offered the treasure chest when we were finished with our cleanings!
